Once again, the Doubtless Bay Fishing Competition was well run by The Lions Club with sponsors from much of the Far North business community. The top prize of $5000 for the average weight fish went to last year’s winner – she won 2 years running!
Taipa was a busy beach each afternoon as the competition fish was auctioned off for charity and filleted by the willing helpers!
Anniversary weekend each year is a top family fishing competition and well worht considering next year.
