Doubtless Bay Fishing Competition
Once again, the Doubtless Bay Fishing Competition was well run by The Lions Club with sponsors from much of the Far North business community. The top prize of $5000 for the average weight fish went to last year’s winner - she won 2 years running!
Taipa was a busy beach each afternoon as the competition fish was auctioned off for charity and filleted by the willing helpers!
Anniversary weekend each year is a top family fishing competition and well worht considering next year.
